It has web interface with the same look and functionality on the local and distant computers. Users watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full management of the software via net that security pc can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular configuration drastically boosts reliability because all units operate as autonomous applications. If one part stops working, other units keep on working. For example if the `record` module freezes, `watchdog` starts over it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` unit. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on distant workstation through Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
